All my travelling has been done in Europe and most of that in the 1970's! I was in a relationship with a man who loved to drive around Europe so we would go off a couple of times a year and drove all over France , Italy, Spain and what was then Yugoslavia and also flew to Malta and Minorca.  I didn't have a very good camera then so I used to collect postcards from the places I visited instead and some of them are in the photo. This lot are all from France and Andorra.

Since those days I have been back to Italy and Spain several times on package holidays but the driving ones with no set plans were far more fun. My favourite country for driving and exploring is France and one of the most amazing places was Carcassonne , a medieval walled city . It 's on the bottom postcard. Other favourite places were Dubrovnik in what is now Croatia - and Venice.  The worst place for driving was Italy ! I got lost in Genoa and ended up in the docks !

I wish I could have travelled to other continents too! I would love to go to N and S America, New Zealand and Japan !
