There were 4 paragliders soaring off the cliffs and over the beach at Newgale yesterday - it was a lovely sunny day with a gentle breeze.

I sometimes envy them and think how calm and peaceful it must be up there and what fabulous views they have - but I really don't think I could do the jumping off the edge of the cliff bit to start and I don't much fancy my chances trying to land again either!

I wan't sure how they steered up in the air but if you look at the full size version you can see there is a thin rope attached to his wrists and to the paraglider.
