Well I'm not really a baby here, I'm 4 years old, but the only baby photos I have are in a very poor condition.

This was taken when I was on our annual holiday at Bournemouth with my mother and my grandparents - we used to go for 2 weeks every summer but my Dad never came  - he hated beach type holidays !  This pretend pony was on the seafront promenade for little kids to pose with and get their photos taken. I was terrified of it at first and it took days for my Mum to persuade me it was safe to stand by it and stroke it!

I remember there were photographers everywhere offering to take your photo as you walked along or sat on the beach - then you would get a little receipt and  go along to their studio in a couple of days to collect the prints - I would think they have entirely disappeared now when everyone walks round with cameras and camera phones !
