Stormy seas
At Abereiddy this morning at high tide. This is normally a calm, sheltered bay but 70+mph gales were blowing today.
I also went to Newgale at low tide this afternoon but failed to walk very far - it was just too windy - one step forward, 2 steps back ! Hovis seems to cope ok - maybe because he's close to the ground.

Wow, the fierce waves tell it all, it seems as if you were close to the edge, gotta be careful... :-] Hovis is so brave !! :-)

Looks a bit intimidating.

I have the feeling Hovis is grabbing onto the ground a little tighter with those winds....That must be a scary ride if you were in a boat there. It is a beautiful thing to look at though : )

It's been bad enough here in Oxfordshire, it must be so much worse on the coast. Rains are bad too. Lots of flooding around the country too.
